This is wild. The Atlantic has obtained a copy of Jason Arday’s book proposal. In it, he claims to have:
– Experienced ‘locked-in’ syndrome for several months after being hit by a car. Doctors advised his family to have the life support machine turned off, but he awakened ‘miraculously’
– Been struck down by testicular cancer (though this changes in the book to brain cancer)
– Been beaten up by a group of kids and then, in court, pleaded with the judge not to jail them. Coincidentally, two of the kids later became his students, and Arday became godfather to the child of one of them
– Aborted a suicide attempt on a bridge after listening to an Eagles song.
– Been awarded several accolades – of which no proof exists online.
– Been told by a ‘shaman woman’ in Brazil that he would suffer greatly but also do great thing. ‘Every event she described has since come to pass,’ he wrote.
The book is due for publication next week by @simonschuster. Surely they have to pull it.
CAMBRIDGE. The Head of Faculty looked him in the eye on camera and said you are the BEST IN THE WORLD.
They still made him a PROFESSOR and called him the best in the world.
The same Head of Faculty also said the Board of Electors was absolutely unanimous and that Cambridge had… pic.twitter.com/iUcdhElggy

“We are Jason Arday,” say the Cambridge faculty.
“We are Jason Arday,” say the British academic establishment.
“We are Jason Arday,” say humanities faculty throughout the West.
And you know what?
They are all correct. pic.twitter.com/5Y6C8SDAQk

'In a way Arday has performed a great service for all of us: he has exposed a deep rot within our education system that needs to be scrutinised and thoroughly challenged.
'Lucy Powell’s agenda is part of this same rot. Labour’s Education Secretary has described the reforms of… pic.twitter.com/DY27FxTnar

The Jason Arday episode is a perfect microcosm of a Western system rotting under the weight of human deadwood. Not just academia, wokeness, welfare bureaucracies, “learing” centers, or the laptop manager class exposed during Covid, but an entire civilization in which millions…

The police. Universities. Our national broadcaster. Publishing. Charities. And, of course, Labour… The surreal 'plagiarising Professor' scandal exposes in chilling detail just how many of our institutions have now been captured by woke dogma https://t.co/jHQ6WDmrCk
