Ein Auto wird aufgebrochen, Film- und Fotoausrüstung für knapp 30.000 Dollar daraus gestohlen, die Täter sogar dabei gefilmt mit klar sichtbarem Kennzeichen – und die Polizei legt beim Notruf einfach auf. Bei der Anzeige zeigt sich, dass es reihenweise Autoaufbrüche gibt, und die Polizei einfach nichts mehr macht.

People asking where this was. On top of famous Lombard Street. One of richest neighborhoods in SF and America. I’ve worked dangerous neighborhoods for years and nothing like this.

We just left police station. The officer was kind and took down all info. She expressed sympathy and said nothing will likely happen: “The police have been defanged.”

Just learned from a Good Samaritan that the license plate on the Blazer was stolen off a 2022 Mitsubishi owned by Enterprise. Just as SF locals told us would be the case.

Das passiert nicht einfach so. Das ist gewollt und gemacht. Ausgehend von der Causa George Floyd.
Ich komme nochmal auf die neulich besprochene Hypothese zurück, wonach BlackRock und George Soros dahinter stecken, um alle Einwohner zu vertreiben und San Francisco dann zum Spottpreis aufzukaufen. Denn unter solchen Umständen ist eine Existenz für die arbeitende Mittelschicht ja nicht mehr möglich.
Es gibt Linke, die glauben, dass das von selbst aufhöre, wenn erst genug Kameras in Gemeineigentum übergegangen sind, also jeder, der will, einfach filmen kann, und auch keiner mehr einen Grund für Hehlerei hat. Der Zustand „you will own nothing and you will be happy“. Der erste Teil (own nothing) ist erreicht. Am zweiten Teil (happy) arbeiten sie noch, das funktioniert noch nicht.
